Traveling by train from Innsbruck Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Take the airport shuttle to Innsbruck Central Station (15 minutes).
  • From there, it’s just 1 hour and 10 minutes to Kitzbühel, with a transfer in Wörgl. ÖBB schedule

Traveling by car from Innsbruck Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Leave the airport and take the A12 toward Kufstein.
  • Take the Wörgl Ost exit and follow the B178 toward St. Johann in Tirol.
  • In St. Johann, switch to the B161, which takes you directly to Kitzbühel.

Traveling by train from Salzburg Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Take the trolleybus or a taxi from Salzburg Airport to Salzburg Central Station (approx. 15 minutes).
  • From there, take a train toward Wörgl.
  • In Wörgl, transfer to the train to Kitzbühel. ÖBB schedule

Traveling by car from Salzburg Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Leave the airport and take the A1 toward Munich.
  • Take the Bad Reichenhall exit and follow the B21 to Lofer.
  • In Lofer, take the B178 toward St. Johann in Tirol.
  • From St. Johann, follow the B161 directly to Kitzbühel.

The drive takes about 1.5 hours and passes through picturesque countryside.

Traveling by train from Munich Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Take the S-Bahn (S1 or S8) from Munich Airport to Munich Central Station (approx. 40 minutes) or change trains at Munich East Station, which is less crowded.
  • From there, take a train toward Kufstein or Wörgl.
  • In Kufstein or Wörgl, transfer to the train to Kitzbühel. ÖBB schedule

Traveling by car from Munich Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Leave the airport and follow the S8 toward Munich.
  • Take the A99 at the Munich-East interchange toward Salzburg/Innsbruck.
  • Then take the A8 toward Salzburg.
  • Take the Kufstein Süd exit and follow the B173 and B178 via St. Johann in Tirol.
  • In St. Johann, switch to the B161, which takes you directly to Kitzbühel.

Traveling by train from Vienna Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Take the Railjet or the S-Bahn from Vienna Airport to Vienna Central Station (approx. 15 minutes).
  • From there, take a Railjet or an IC train toward Innsbruck.
  • Change trains in Wörgl to the train to Kitzbühel. ÖBB timetable

Traveling by car from Vienna Airport to Kitzbühel:

  • Leave the airport and take the A4 toward Vienna.
  • At the Schwechat interchange, take the S1 and follow the signs toward the A21 (Vienna Outer Ring Highway).
  • Take the A21 and then the E60/A1 toward Salzburg.
  • Stay on the A1 until the Salzburg exit and switch to the A10 toward Villach.
  • Take the Bischofshofen exit and follow the B164 toward St. Johann in Tirol.
  • From St. Johann, take the B161, which leads directly to Kitzbühel.
